Soften ice cream, whip heavy cream. Crumble macaroons. Mix all together with the orange juice and fresh strawberries if using. Pour into a 10 inch springform pan. Smooth top evenly. Sprinkle with almonds. Freeze firm. Remove from freezer 15 minutes prior to serving. For sauce heat berries and orange juice just to boiling. Slice ice cream torte and serve with the sauce.
